Center for Natural Resources Management on Military Lands

The center provides natural resource management services to eight military bases across the Southeastern region of the United States, including Redstone Arsenal and Fort Rucker in Alabama; Forts Benning, Gordon, and Stewart in Georgia; Fort Polk in Louisiana; Fort Bragg in North Carolina and Fort Jackson in South Carolina. Forest Health Cooperative

FHC addresses important, current and pertinent forest health issues (disease, insect, invasive species, etc.) in a way that reflects real world management problems in the Southern United States. Director: Dr. Lori Eckhardt (eckhalg@auburn.edu).

FPC is a research and outreach center whose purpose is to explore the fundamental forest policy issues affecting the United States in an increasingly globalized economy.

Forest Products Development Center

Prepares and supplies a high quality pool of graduate students to our stakeholders whom need the next generation of leaders for their industrial programs. Southern Forest Engineering Center

A coalition of researchers from academia, agency, and industry who coordinate biomass research projects and information to explore and develop best practices for harvesting small scale, high production and/or short rotation crops as well as processing of biomass material. Southern Forest Nursery Management Cooperative
