CFWE Internships

The CFWE encourages students to complete internships as part of their academic development. Internships provide students with real-world learning opportunities that help them to apply their knowledge, shape their career objectives, develop job skills, and earn tangible work experience. These benefits contribute to building a student’s confidence and becoming more competitive in the job market after graduation.

To learn about opportunities within forestry, geospatial technologies, sustainable biomaterials and packaging, wildlife sciences, parks and recreation, or natural resource-based organizations, plan to attend the CFWE Career Fair or visit the Auburn University Hand Shake career development site for a complete list of opportunities. Internships that offer student credit hours are also available within the college for those earning a natural resources minor with a major in communications, marketing, or journalism. Contact cfwecom@auburn.edu for more information.
