Undergraduate Research

According to the American Association of Colleges and Universities, undergraduate research has been identified as one of the top ten high-impact educational experiences. The School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, in conjunction with the Auburn University Office of Undergraduate Research, offers undergraduate students opportunities to gain valuable experience conducting their own research within any topic area associated with the School. Under the supervision of our faculty, students will develop research objectives, methodology, and manage the collection and analysis of data that will be used to test their hypothesis. With the approval and support of their faculty advisor, students may be offered the opportunity to publish and present their findings in a professional setting.

To learn more about these opportunities, contact the Director of Student Services, Dr. Jodie Kenney at jkenney@auburn.edu, 334-844-1050.
