To reduce the spread of COVID-19, Auburn University has transitioned to remote instruction for the remainder of the 2020 spring semester. During this period, the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences faculty and staff will continue to support and guide students via phone, email, and various online platforms. We encourage students to check their email, the SFWS website, and social media channels often for up-to-the-minute communications. Additionally, this page will serve as a resource for online and on-campus services available to support distance learning and student wellness.

Advising Resources

How to Schedule an Appointment etc.:

Despite all the changes that have occurred these few weeks, AU will continue to require student advisement prior to registration for summer and/or fall courses. In order to help facilitate this, time tickets have been posted in AU Access.

  • Please verify you do not have any holds on your account.
  • If you have already met with your faculty advisor, contact Dr. Jodie Kenney so your pin can be reset, if you have one.
  • When scheduling an advising appointment, please be sure to select SFWS Online Advising as your “Service.” We will send you a Zoom link prior to your appointment.  You do not have to use the camera if you do not wish.
  • Please be cautious of your surroundings as we conduct your advising via phone or Zoom as we will be discussing your academics.
  • If your faculty advisor is not listed in Advise Assist – email them directly.
  • All freshmen and students below a 2.5 gpa should schedule their advising meeting with Dr. Kenney at .
