Greetings faculty, staff, and students,
As we embark on a new semester and our return to campus, I wished to share some valuable resources with you that have been developed by Auburn University to protect the safety and well-being of the Auburn community, including the below:
- For COVID-19 related questions, students can phone the new COVID-19 Telephone Hotline at 334-844-6000 or email email@example.com.
- The SFWS has designated a COVID-19 liaison to confidentially assist faculty and staff with COVID-19 related questions and incidents within the school. Please contact Sue Robinson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Health screening for the campus will be enabled through Healthcheck, a COVID-19 assessment tool accessible through AU Access, which allows individuals to report COVID-19 health status, symptoms, and exposure. Students are required to complete the screening each day before they come to campus, and faculty and staff are encouraged to utilize Healthcheck as well. Those reporting specific conditions will be instructed to contact the Auburn University Medical Clinic for evaluation and possible testing.
- Finally, please download the voluntary Exposure Notification app that will alert you if you’ve been exposed to COVID-19.
Thank you all for remaining patient and flexible as we prepare to resume on-campus instruction and operations. We appreciate your participation in our weekly Zoom meetings and will continue to keep you informed via email as we move forward. As always, please feel free to reach out to the associate deans or me with any questions and concerns.
Best wishes for a safe and successful academic year!
