SFWS launches student hub for news, distance learning and wellness resources

By March 25, 2020No Comments

During this period of remote instruction, the Auburn University School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences faculty and staff will continue to advise students via phone, email, and various other online platforms, such as AdviseAssist and Zoom. To help students manage this transition and to keep them informed, the School has also created a convenient resource for students to remotely access online and on-campus services in support of distance learning and student wellness.

The Online Resources for Students website was created to support student advisement, academic tutoring, and registration, as well to provide a directory of on-campus helplines for technical support and health and wellness services. The page will also be a central repository of communications from SFWS administration to keep students abreast of school-specific changes to operations and academic programs.

The School also encourages students to routinely check email and the School’s social media channels for up-to-the-minute communications, in addition to the Auburn University’s COVID-19 Information page. Students may access the page at https://cfwe.auburn.edu/online-student-resources/  It is also accessible from the main page drop down menu (STUDENTS/Online Resources for Students) and the home page news gallery.
